People who has their favourite TV series often come to like theme songs of the series itself. But the problem lies that these theme songs often a short recordings and the producers never bother to make an album out of them.

This problem for the TV series fans was solved when TV Land gather theme songs from 40 famous sitcoms into one place. Since most of the recordings are short, it is possible to put these 40 tracks into a single disc. In order to satisfy different generations of fans, the producer also has selected these TV series from several era. From the grandpa's favourites ("The Andy Griffith Show", "I Love Lucy", "I Dream of Jeannie") to papa's generation ("Hawaii Five-O", "Brady Bunch", "Happy Days") onto the more recent 80s and 90s era ("Duke of Hazzard", "Magnum", "Greatest American Hero", "The Golden Girls").

Naturally, not everyone favourite are here (that's impossible folk), but majority of the big ones are definitely here. This album is a great collectable item for anyone who miss their favourite sitcoms' song, and an excellent summary of television music's history for casual fans.
