This 2-CD collection can be called definitive depends on which perspective you use to look at it. If you live in US, you may notice that some of these 44 songs are not actually one hit wonders. But if you are from UK, then all of these songs are indeed one hit wonders. The songs from 1960s to 1990s (mostly from 1980s and 1990s) were selected and put in a random order. The choices here are quite good. For US listener, this may be one of the few places to hear these songs, since some songs didn't become hit in US.

The producer chose the English version of Nena's "99 Luftballons", instead of German version, because only the English version became hit in UK.
